can a cracked rim be fixed?

Found a set of tires with rims for a good price but one rim is cracked around hub. just wondering if they can be fixed since i cant seem to find these rims anymore. or if someone knows where i could find a spare, there called "big daddy" dont know who makes them.

That cannot be fixed and be road worthy....

They might be, but they look rough. Try google rim doctor and see if anything comes up in your area. They will be better in telling you if it can be fixed or not. We have a guy that comes out around here that fixes rims right on his box truck

im sure they can be, but i dont know if its worth it, and i would be sketch to ride on them.

if they broke once, they will again... just on the other two spokes. :)

Do not buy.


Im gonna go out on a limb and guess those were originally intended for 1/4 ton 6 lug import trucks like a Nissan hardbody, mazda b2200, Isuzu Pup, etc... they have the same bolt pattern as GM fullsize so they will bolt on...

But are not intended nor weight rated for a nearly 6,000 lb tahoe/burb.

x2...I'd definitely not drive on those rims. You're asking for trouble....

Yea I was buying them for the dune grapplers and the guy was givining them with rims so I figured if I had a full set could sell the rims and pretty much get tires for free

Think of it this way they broke for a reason.
