We recently purchased a 2005 Tahoe Z71 and I can't figure out how (if it's even an option) to remove the third row...any help??? I tried searching the forum but nothing came up. Picture included shows seats folded up. They are 50/50 bench seats.

Thanks so much!back of tahoe.jpg

Yes, once you fold them up there's a specific angle and you can just lift the seat straight up and out.

Pull on handle "3", roll seat towards back, latches will release and rolls out. Sometimes the handles are a real pain in the ass to release, but with persistence and a little time it will move.

It was difficult to figure out and is not intuitive at all. I own an 05 z71 tahoe and yes it comes out, it's just a ***** to get out. I recommend spraying down the metal connection parts with WD-40 that helped me a lot as mine were kind of stuck.

It's not 3 it's the u shaped bar you pull it then bring the seat down and they'll roll out. It's a pain in the ass. But once you get it the next time won't be a problem

Yeah that's right. It's been a while. I had to go out to mine to check and try it.
