Thanks for this answer, I know there are two different MHz sensors, how can you tell which you have? I need to order some, as at least one is dead. I figure I'll order 4.

That’s the way to do it imo (replace all 4). Im the same way with lights on my vehicles. If one headlight or taillight goes out, I replace both sides.

hmm, on Monday you can go to the gm website, go to chat, select (question about a vehicle I already own), give the chat person your vin and they can email you the build sheet for your vehicle, they will need to confirm that you are the owner is all, it's free

I wasn't clear I already have the build sheet, they sent it last week. doesn't mention it at all. Nor does the RPO codes in the glovebox...

you must be missing it somehow they are alphabetically listed, see my photo post on the first page
if nothing else call your local dealer's parts department and give them the last 8 of your vin or send it to @915_Tahoe

I remember another thread about this same thing and I believe @swathdiver mentioned the older trucks... (pre2010 maybe?)... not having them listed... my truck doesn't have it in the glove box or on the print out either and it's an '08.

My guess, and this is purely speculation, is that perhaps prior to 2011 they only used the 315MHz and then after 2011 they possibly used both???

I say 2011 because that is when they changed and you could no longer use the air up/air down method to program the sensors.

Again... this is merely a theory and speculation at best.

I know I'm a bit slow sometimes, but I can read... not in the box or sheet.

No worries, I've got enough other little jobs to do on the truck for now.

then you guys may have RPO UJ6, I have a RF frequency scanner (pretty much a bug scanner) that picks ups mine but it only indicates there is a signal, I ordered a digital one from ebay/china few days ago that will show me a frequency and tone it back if it's a radio pretty cool little device I can use around here for testing crap I sell on ebay
