Can you remove the front Drive Shaft

on my 06 Denali, the front diff has a terrible humming noise. Is it ok from me to drive around without the front drive shaft for awhile, to confirm its the front diff? I was gonna pull it from the diff to t-case

No will cause a lot worse of problems

If your trying to isolate a noise yes you can. Would not recommend leaving it not leaving it like that for long period of time.

Good luck let me know how it works.. I was mistaken earlier it won't cause problems because it won't move.

Oh yes. Awd. Center diff. Lol yes you can, won't move

Yes I wasn't to remove the drive shaft from the T-Case to the front diff and drive it around. How long can I drive like that?

Why wouldn't it drive? It will still have the rear drive shaft?

Because its an all wheel drive transfer case. It will send all power to front with shaft removed. Your most likely hearing differential bearings
