I have a 2005 Tahoe LT 5.3L with a real head scratcher of an issue. I am unable to fill the truck with fuel. The pump will go for about 1.3 gallons before clicking off and spewing fuel out of the filler tube. I've tried all positions and speeds to resolve the issue. I've already replaced the Vent Solenoid, Purge Valve, Charcoal Canister and blew out all the lines connected to it due to the fact that they were full of charcoal bits. The lines are clear. Upon going to the station after cleaning the lines and replacing the parts the tank filled and clicked off at 1.3 gallons and spewed gasoline back out at me. I do not have a check engine light of any sort and the truck runs and drives like normal. I just cant fill it. I hope you guys and gals can shed some light on the situation, I've scheduled an appointment at the dealer for Monday but am trying to avoid it.

Thank you for your time and assistance

Lol yes I did post on multiple forums I was un aware you guys moderated multiple ones. My fault. Yeah my appointment is in an hour and I will report back. I normally do this kind of stuff myself it's just I really don't feel like dropping the tank. Trucks been in the family for ten years and this is really this first time it's been to a dealer (knock on wood) I'm just curious if my appointments at 7AM and they close at 7PM you think they can fix her up by the end of the day? Should be a similar time to if they were replacing a fuel pump right?

Thank you for your assistance
