Can't get brake lights or backup lights to work?

With ignition on check for 12volts voltage on brown and light green/black wires and purple and dark green/white wires with brake depressed.

Sorry. brake pedal switch.


Available wires on brake switch
white,orange,brown,purple,green,green/white

With ignition on and brake depressed have power to orange,white, brown, and green

With ignition off & brake depressed power to orange,white

With ignition on & no brake depressed power to all except white

There is no power to the white brake wire at the supply side of the junction box above the tailpipe when the brake is depressed.

On instrument panel fuse block there are to fuses labelled VEH STOP and VEH CHMSL With ignition on do there have power when brake is depressed? At the rear the junction box for brake light should be Light blue not white.

Yes there is power when the brake is depressed.

Those two wires out are listed as light blue in color and had back. the center high lamp go thru the I/P relay box first. Looks like it just passes thru. The other for tails goes to the reaer tail junction blocks so those two paths might be disconnected somewhere. The do both leave the I/P Fuse block in a light grey connector before going there routes. If you can open the zip for a pdf of circuit. if not PM me your email and I can throw all kinds of stuff at you.
