Caps on wheel bearings like Silverado?

I was watching a video on replacement of the half shaft, and noticed that the Silverado's have a metal cap over the axle shaft, pressed into the wheel hub. I like the idea of some extra dirt/rust protection. Anyone know if those same caps fit on our vehicles (even though ours don't come with them)?
