How are yall installing it? Lay it on, cut with a razor blade? Heatgun? Solution spray etc
Wrapping vinyl is pretty easy but take patience and time to do it right. Unless you do on the regular you may even do one piece 2 or 3 times before you get it right.
Using vinyl with heat gun or iv even used a blow dryer just takes a little longer, razors and a blunt tip type tool (w/e you can find just something that is not going to scratch the vinyl or tear it) to roll the edges and push into crevasses.
Doing this in a controlled or warmer area is also better but you always want to heat up the surface some just to make the glue stick better to the plastic or w/e surface you are applying it to. Also make sure you clean the surface good, soap that does not leave hazes and water works good. Not too much soap just enough to clean the surface and then dry it thoroughly. Make sure to cut enough to work with. Laying the wrap on the surface and then using heat to warm up the vinyl will make it wrap around the edges and turns/bends of the piece you are working with. Using the blunt tip tool to roll over edges or tuck into crevasses. Doing the heat and rolling/pulling/stretching you want to take your time on this and make sure you don't tear or stress the vinyl too much and make sure to keep it warm. If you make it too hot it will warp or bubble or burn and make holes then you have to start all over again. After you get all the stretching and w/e else needed to be done make good strait cuts. Rolling all excess under the piece as best as possible or tucking it under the places you can get to roll under after cutting. Cutting is probably the time that I pay close attention to bc you can get it perfect on there and looking good and cut it to short or too much and have start all over.
In all like I said take your time on it and depending on how picky you are will dictate how good it looks in the end. For your first time I would buy extra vinyl just to make sure you have enough in case you mess up a couple time or so, especially for bigger pieces.
I'm sure there are tip and tricks other people can add to what I said, this is basically how I have done this in the past with interior and exterior parts.
