A little on the ricey side. But I have to say, I have never seen one on an SUV. It could be tight if it were on the right truck I think and had the right color.
On the other hand, these trucks are so heavy anyways, I dought a saving 75 lbs is going to do much for performance.lol

It would be kind of tight to have it painted to match and then leave racing stripes or stipe down the center in carbon fiber

Would you paint it? Paint part of it, or leave it bare? They were coming out with a lot of carbon fiber parts for my Camaro when I had it. On the cars there was a good weight savings, but you had a lot of parts to get the weight out. Not sure what the benefit is, other than coolness depending on how you prep it.

I saw that truck at SEMA. It was pretty bad ass looking. I liked the way they did the carbon fiber with the flow going in the center of the bumber into the hood then had a carbon fiber tailgate and also I believe ethe had it on the roof to

wow, that truck looks sick! cf definately looks cool, but you may have to do some other stuff like the truck to pull it off, i dont know about just adding a hood, but hey no one else has done it so it might just be bad a!

SW CT,
Well looking at my idea further, the hood will probably end up being mostly unpainted...there will be parts that do get colormatched. I have always wanted to paint my roof a nice satin black since I bought the truck...just something I really like that is on my Audi's.

I say go for it. IMO it would look good on a black truck, but if you had enough black parts on your grey it would look good. How much weight would you save?
