I was removing my cargo cover and I knocked one of the ends off. In the process, the cargo cover “unwound” itself and I’m having some difficulty rewinding it. Not sure if I broke it in the process. Anyone have any experience with this? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not a fun repair. If it’s from a truck with an electric open rear hatch, those are hard to find.

They’re like a seatbelt mechanisms under spring load. Specialist make quick work of them. Not sure where knowledge base is on the retractable cargo covers. Sub’d on this

I appreciate your response. When you said you "Sub's on this", where did you go to? And by Specialist, did you mean the dealership? Thanks again.

I think he meant he sub'd to your post, to keep up to date on your progress.

And I have to guess, he does NOT mean the dealer when referring to a specialist!!!

That’s funny, I’ve become what used to bug me. Sub’d = subscribed to your post or watching with enthusiasm.

When this internet thing and forums started it was like Velcro, cordless and cell phones. Just WOW and everyone put their name after their post and introduced themselves.

Now there’s so much jargon, there’s a curve to getting acclimated to different forums.

Ace in my book he asked the obvious question about spam, spit, smishing, spim, threads, posts.

I’m still actively looking for a cargo cover for my Esky ESV (XL)

Happy New Year Everyone!!!
