Hey tony are the long and short w.b. Really different? I ask because thinking about it how much further could you reach in from standing at the back of the truck to pull the cover closed? Width is the same and notchs should be too right? Just curious.

The long wheel base models are just a hair longer, where they won't lock into the Tahoe slots. I tried it and it doesn't work. As much as I tried, just won't click in. It's been awhile since I've had one in, but, I think once the shade is in, it locks either above the third row or directly behind it. I had a black one in my Hoe and I sold it because I felt bad for the guy. Should've kept it.

We've been looking for cargo cover for 2004 Tahoe LT, short bed, but they are hard to find. It seems like all are just an inch too wide. I've measured where the shade installs and it is 62.5", inside the sockets, so the shade would need to contract a little to install. Does anyone have a part number I could check? I've been searching, even contacted a GM dealer, but no luck. Thanks!

Best bet is to keep checking cl. They're hard to come by. I have 2 suburban covers.
