Ok so we just screwed up the exhaust on the wife's Yukon.
Was trying to pull a friend out of the ditch and ended up in the ditch on the other side of the road do to ice and my spotter being an incompetent moron.

Long story short we crushed the back of the muffler (by shoving the outlet pipe in to it) and the resonator when the resonator hung up on a stump as I slid in to the ditch.

Lucky for me that's all that happened.

She wants a dual exhaust the exits out the back and is not to loud.
Would like a bump in power, and some thing that will last a good long time as well.
Her last truck had a flowmaster system on it. And I'm looking at getting one for the Yukon as an option.
Just want to see what you guys recommend, and have had good luck with.

Thanks guys!

No one has any info?
I had the cut the tail pipe off.
So right now the exhaust ends at the back of the stock muffler.
Took to a shop and had them weld it up and put a turn down on it for now.

Looking at the Gibson 5569 as an option as well.
Its hard to tell what they sound like from watching YouTube videos though. Some people suck at making videos, and others use crappy cameras that mess the sound all up.

Need to get this ordered in the next few weeks.
We are taking a trip soon and I want to have the new exhaust on before we leave.

Thanks.

I ran the gibson dual sport cat back on my tahoe for around 3 years. I thought it was a great exhaust. It was mellow, just slightly louder than stock and had no drone. If your looking for something deep sounding, like a flowmaster, then you wouldn't be happy with the gibson.

I have since changed to a Corsa sport exhaust, and that by far has been my favorite sounding exhaust for the gm trucks. There's no drone, sounds nearly as quiet as stock on the highway, but gets loud when you get into the pedal.

+1 on the CORSA Sport...even though mine is on a NBS-its the best sounding aftermarket exhaust I've ever purchased.

Wife shot the Corsa system down.
She really liked the dual outlet tip.
But said it looked stupid to only have it on the one side.

So it has to be a dual exhaust system.
Though now she wants those duel tips on it. LOL.

Any other suggestions?

LOL.

Yeah not going to happen.

I do like the Corsa my self. But it's her truck so she gets what she wants. And the Corsa is out.

Get rid of wife.

That's classic, haha.

Badmunky,

Is that shop capable of bending you up a new system? If so, tell them what you want and have them do it.

I like the Corsa but prefer the Caddy dual set up, that's purdy.
