Anybody ever run new exhaust with removing the cats? Did you have any code issues or driving issues?

Also if it is better to run cats, then there is a guy near me selling some magnaflow cats for about $150. They are brand new #53009. Does anybody have any opinions on these cats? Will they work good with an aftermarket exhaust?

Thanks

Haven't done it on my truck but did it on my firebird with no problems. As long as your o2 sensors are still there it shold be fine.

That is what I thought. Another buddy of my thinks the same thing. I'll do some more research. Want to make sure before I really do it.

your in florida, thought there was no emissions laws there.

only thing you need to do is have rear O2's turned off in tune, or get O2 simulators and all will be good.

We do not have emissions in Florida anymore. Just wanted to make sure it didn't mess with how it rides.
