from what I have read here and other places the 305 will rub even with the level kit vs 285/55/20 you will not rub. Also if it matters your MPG will suffer for sure. Wider tire, more resistance, wide contact MPG will be less. I don't care about MPG with a Suburban but some will.
I hear ya for sure on your points! All are very applicable to real world situations. Contact resistance is a big fat *itch both good and bad. Yea, I'm not to concerned with mpg's, until I fill up... But I could fill up a civic and that would still drive me up the wall.
I wonder if anyone has tried to squeeze a 295/60/20 in there? If that would work I think that would be a pretty good compromise between the two. Anyone have any input with that setup?
