CD changer rejects all cd's and says Check CD

I put a cleaning cd through it and it didn't help. The radio works just fine but the cd player refuses to a play a cd no matter if it's in slot 1 or slot 6. They are new cd's, not scratched up.

Is my CD player just permanently broke now?

Since you tried a cleaning cd already, try spraying a bit of compressed air in there and see if that helps!
