They always take a while to learn idle. It should go down. The throttle bodies are super sensitive, many times after you clean like that they don't even idle.

Pick up a large bottle of marvel mystery oil. It should be enough for about three fill ups. Mix with your gas as directed on the bottle. It will start cleaning out and lubricating the top. And fuel lines n such.

I will pickup that oil and do that...Oreilleys didn't have the evap canister assembly or the wiring harness so I had to amazon prime it...My truck was really making the garage smell like gas last night it was pretty bad...I tried to drop the spare tire and take a look at the canister assembly before I went to work this morning but of course I ran into more problems, my damn spare tire is stuck and I looked it up and it looks like I need to reach that dumbass secondary lock but I can't even get the wheel low enough to see the stupid thing. :wtf:

So new (sort of lingering) problem...After a prolonged time of not starting my truck (wel say 15 hours or so) When I start it up it studders, almost like the battery is near dead...I also swear I still smell gas, but theres no CEL lights..any ideas?

Has your P0121 reappeared? Has the truck learned to run properly again?

I also have the P0121 code (no other codes) and I'm planning to clean the MAF and TB later this week.
