Center console cassette console

My Tahoe has the cassette deck ... which naturally is completely useless anymore. Is there a storage compartment that fits in that spot? I hate having things that serve no purpose (or will never be used) in my car. Thanks in advance!

Yes there is a replacement part. Not sure what the number would be if you went through a dealership but I'm fairly sure you can find them on Amazon.

Yeah ... I've seen the Metra thing in person, not a fan of it. The OEM part has been discontinued so I'll either be getting it from eBay or the junkyard.

FWIW I picked one up in my local pick and pull for under $5. Personally I wouldn't go about it any other way!
