Center console help

I just scored a complete nbs center console for $60 and I have some questions...
Has anyone been able to wire in the Bose sub and amp into their aftermarket head unit? And is it worth it? Also the little stereo in the back of the console? And how do you mount console? Did you use the existing brackets or did you fab up a special mount?

I may not use the Bose stuff if I can't wire it in, so if I take it completely out do I need to do something to help it structurally?

I found one like this on my local CL, but I just don't have the time to do a bunch of R&D to make it work
