Change engine oil will not reset

my 2004 z71 tahoe has a weird issue. When I reset the oil life monitor, it show 100% for the duration of my drive, however as soon as I turn the truck off and get back in it later it says change engine oil and the oil life is at 0% again. I have tried numerous times to reset it using multiple methods and it's always goes back to 0% when I restart the truck
