Changed the O2 sensors, now it barely runs.

Hey guys, having a little bit of an issue. I was getting some intermittent bad O2 sensor readings in my Torque App. I've never changed them since I purchased the Tahoe so I decided to go ahead and do it. I replaced all the sensors with Denso O2 sensors. Now it runs like crap, misfires and I can't get any readings at all from the O2 sensors. The Tahoe's tag says it was assembled in Wisconsin, so I went with the Excluding Canada sensors. I had to run the same sensors both upstream and downstream as the ones that it called for in the upstream did not have the right plug. The sensor should be the same though, the universal sensor is the same for both upstream and downstream. Before I throw the old sensors back in it, anyone know what could be going on? I did disconnect the battery for around a minute to clear the computer.

The US built front Denso sensor number is 2344012 and the rear sensor is 2344018.

The Canada built shows to use the same sensor for both front and rear #2344650

And that's what doesn't make sense on mine. It's got a Wisconsin sticker on it, so per the sticker it wasn't made in Canada.

The plug that I removed looks like the one from the Canada built.

But this...

If during the rigs lifetime someone put a used ecm in from a Canadian built rig in a salvage yard and then changed to Canada sensors that could explain it but that is a stretch. Other than checking the part numbers from the old ones and crossing them and then installing the like sensor for the crossover, that may fix it.

It had Denso universals installed. Part number 2344000 (I believe it was), was stamped into the body. I'm going to run back to work either tonight or tomorrow and grab the Canada sensors...

I would check the old sensors and see if they al have the same part number on them and if not see what the old number crosses to. If I am not mistaken you can cross the old numbers in Rock Auto.

I don't think the number stamped on the denso sensors are the exact part number as listed on the box it comes in. I replaced my post cat sensors a couple yrs ago and the denso sensors I got had slightly different numbers on the part compared to what was on the box. As far as not getting any readings, check all the fuses related to o2 sensors (under hood) including the o2 sensor heater fuses.
