Changing bulbs behind gauge and dash?

do I have to have those??? I mean I figured the stock would work just fine right?

You cannot reuse the stock ones. The stock gauge bulbs are built into the bases, therefore, you'll need the get the new leds and install them into the new base and then twist lock them into the cluster.

I thought that was only for the 03 and later models...mine is an 01

'03 and up are a whole different light setup, those you have to resolder the bulbs into the cluster!! You will need these bases like mentioned, I just found this out in the last few days as well!!

The cluster on a 2002 is very easy to do yourself. The AC panel is a 7 on a scale of 1-10 as far as difficulty. But that is also assuming you know how to solder. The cluster is the only thing that can be done without soldering. All other switches need to be custom soldered. And yes, I have done quite a few now for other forum members. Actually in the process of a set right now. Some people think my prices are expensive, but I think they are more than fair for not only all the work involved, but I also supply all the LEDs and resistors. I charge anywhere from $20 to $50 depending on which part it is. $50 being the most expensive, a cluster or AC panel.
