I have a 2012
tahoe LTZ and its time for tires.I can get a set of 17 take offs for $600 with 0 miles. I like to looks of the 20s but the 17s are ok too. Will there be any issues? I think it will improve the ride. This truck is an interstate cruiser. Tell me what you think.

No issues. You won't notice much difference in ride other than going from a warn out tire to a new tire. The difference in ride between a 17 and 20 assuming both have good tires is negligible at best.

Exactly what he said, IMO I would just spend the money on the tires for the 20" tires to keep the looks.

I just switched from 18" to 20" and the only differences are it's less floaty, less body roll and flatter in turns.

Just outside of Chattanooga

Wish you were closer. I'd trade you my stock 17's plus cash for your 20's. I need something nice looking to run in the winter.

On the highway, you'll feel no difference, literally would never be able to guess which were on if you were tested on it. On rough roads the 17's will ride a bit softer, also tow a bit better, but the 20's will handle a bit better. All in all not much real world difference. Since those take-offs are cheaper than a new set of tires why not run them and see if you like them, when you wear them out you'll have 2 sets of rims and can choose which you want.

There will be a significant change in acceleration. You just might be able
To do a burn out.

The weight change is substantial.
