Wouldn't want to tap into the radiator. Plus part of the efficiency of the e-fans comes from the ability to turn off the fans when you get up to a certain speed as your driving airflow is greater than what the fans can flow, saving you that extra load by not having to work the alternator.

If you do a google search on some of the Derale and Flex-a-lite set ups, you will see folks having a lot of issues with the controllers (radiator probes).

well my fans probe went into the rad hose at the rad side and i just pulled the hose off and put rubber wedge with probe wire against it then clamped the hose back on, is there a problem with that? and they fans only turn on when they get to a certain temp, i find they are actually rarely on at all only at stand stills or once in awhile in town, but the temp never goes over the 97C that it did with the clutch fan, am i doing something wrong? everything seems good

will you be able to tell after i get my tune and do a log if its not doing good? so far i am happy i have only ran one tank and gained 30kms so roughly 5%, could be a fluke too cause i have only run one tank, i just hope im not doing harm, and i guess at highway speed i dont know if fans are on, im just guessing they are not because when i slow to a speed where i can hear the fans dont kick on for a long while of driving in town

Can't tell off of the logs, if they are on or not, as they aren't running off of the PCM. They are on their own circuit.
