Recently purhcased a 2007 escalade. The check engine light came on. Does the 2007 escalade have a different protocol for code reading than odbII?

I plugged my reader into the port and the door chimed and the ABS and traction control lights illuminated. I could not get communication with the onboard diagnostics

I am using digimoto as my scanner. www.digimoto.com

Their technical support states either the vehicle is not ODBII compliant or it is not communicating properly.

Thanks for any suggestions you can give me.

sannersplace72,

Have you had the chance to take your vehicle into your local dealership to be diagnosed? Please keep us updated on any information.

Thank you,
