Hope this isn't revisiting an old problem. I just installed HID's in my 2007
Tahoe. Lights work perfectly but now my check engine light comes on.
Any suggestions? Thanks

There will be a code set for whatever caused this. We need that to help.

Is the truck driving ok? I know to get to the light on passengers side you have to remove the air filter, which entails removing connector on MAFS. If this wasn't reattached, it could easily cause a CEL, but I would think the truck would idle and drive like crap... Just a thought.

We would definitely need to know which code its throwing to help out though. If there is an autozone close by, I think they can pull the code for free.

Thanks for the replies. I ran errands in it today and it drove fine. After three stops and restarts the light went out. My average miles per gallon fell to about 9 mpg but when I reset that it climbed back up to about 18 mpg. I did remove the air filter box and disconnected the MAFS but did reconnect.
