This is what I think... I am going for the Sporty look
Stock Rack = Ok
Rack removed = Sporty
Escalade Rack = Classy

i really like the rack removed look i want to try this on my suburban hey kmeloney how much of the molding did u cut off.

Kirk, for "your" truck and the look you are going for I can see how the esky rack works better...I like it either way...esky or no esky.

Yatch -- Not really sure what you're asking here. The molding (that I got, and that ITD used) comes in two strips, probably long enough to do a Sub. You remove your rack, hollow out the sticky side of the molding where the mounting nutserts sit on the roof, and apply the molding. How long you want the molding to extend down the roof is determined by the location of the last nutsert and your own preference.

Thanks again for your help with this! I was torn between keeping the factory steps and leaving the rack off and adding Esky steps and adding the rack back. Thanks for the input.
