My gas mileage still sucks so I'm checking the o2 sensors now. My bluetooth obd2 scanner is in the mail. I'm going to use the torque app (for android) to check everything. Does any one know what a bad o2 sensor reading is going to look like? Will I know it when I see it?

Thats what I thought. No pending codes though. I heard somewhere the ses light would only come on once the o2 completely fails.

@blueflamed not a prob :cheers:

@atomic I could but I don't feel like tapping wires or unscrewing anything and imo using the app is cooler :cool: But seriously the torque app has a oscilloscope-like display so it would be easier to see what all o2's are doing at the same time.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on finding anything with your o2s, if you have no cel on chances are there fine. I think the 5.3 is horrible for economy from the get go it's just something you have to expect when owning a full-size suv. If you want good gas mileage buy a Prius.
