Raised in SoCal. Normally stay indoors if it gets below 65 degrees.

I'm heading for a week in Yosemite. Want to try and get some winter pics up there. Temps down to zero at night. What do I need to do to winterize my Denali?

Turns out I can't buy sub zero windshield washer fluid here in SoCal because the EPA doesn't like it. Have to wait until I get up in the mountains somewhere and hope they carry it up there.

Anything else? Thanks.

I lived in Yosemite for 5 years :)

Definitely no water in the windshield wiper reservoir. You should be ok for everything else if you running 5w30 oil. Also, watch the roads up there. 9/10 times they are covered in black ice and can be very dangerous. Since your coming up from the south I can almost guarantee your coming up from HWY 41 to Yosemite. The roads are VERY windy at most parts so take your time. Before you get to Yosemite there is a town called Oakhurst and they have a Kragen, ETC. You should be able to find sub-zero Washer Fluid with Rain-X in it.

Have a good trip and enjoy the beautiful sights! I miss living up there but love the pay in the valley

Thanks for the info.

Timely reminder about driving on ice.

I know people who think AWD makes them immune from the laws of physics.
