As far as tires, the nittos are great tires and made in USA. Also the company is owned by Toyo so either of those are great tires.

Yeah, I was pleasntly surprised to see that my Toyo's were Made In USA when I got them. Gotta love supporting companies whose products we make here at home. :)

The only downside to the 295/35/24 Nitto NT420's is that they're expensive. I think I'll end up dropping somewhere around $1250 for the set. WAY more than my Toyo's were, and I consider the Toyo's to be just as good a tire. In fact, I like the tread pattern better. I only spent about $650 for all four 305/40/22 Toyo Proxes STII's. Not sure why the Nitto's are so pricey??

I wasn't comparing wheel weight with tire but without. The 24" TBSS are lighter than the stock 22" wheel.

As for the tire weight, my guess is that they are close. Losing 2" in diameter of rubber and gaining some width is about a wash and will depend on the tire. Either way that weight isn't as much of a concern to me as the difference will be closer. If the TBSS wheels were heavier I wouldn't have bought 24's. I am building this truck to drive aggressively every day and what hurts that as a compromise I will try to avoid.

Ah, gotcha. I'd like to know the difference in weight between 24" TBSS and 24" CK375's. I'm sure the TBSS's would be lighter, but by how much I'm uncertain.

I'd guess a lot. 22" CK375 probably are close to stock weight if I go by looks.

You mean probably close to the weight of your stock 22" seven spoke Esky's? If that's what you mean, I'd guess the CK's are even heavier because they've got an eight spokes instead of only seven.

Woo hoo! Another vote for the CK375's! I've been secretly hoping the CK's would win, but so far its not happening. Lol. I'm starting to change my mind, though, because the weight of the 24" TBSS being even lighter than my current 22" 375's is really appealing. Can't beat stepping up to a larger wheel and at the same time DECREASING rotational mass!

So that's 10 votes to TBSS and 3 votes to CK375. Damn I really wish I knew how to create a poll when I started this thread. Lol. I didn't see an option to do that.

I'm a fan of the smoothness of the TBSS rims, not to say the CK375s don't look bad either. TBSS wins by an inch :)
