Chrome Door Handles or Chrome Door Handle Covers

I am wanting to replace my painted black plastic peeling outside door handles on my 2008 Yukon. Looking on ebay, I see you can purchase chrome door handle covers. For $20 something dollars, I assume these just stick over the existing handles.

I see you can also get a set of chrome door handles for $100, but I wonder if the chrome door handles are are just more plastic with chrome colored paint.

I would really like a set of outside door handles that are metal with a chrome finish. I haven't been able to find that yet. If I spend the time replacing all of the handles, I sure don't want to do it again.

Don't get the covers. A buddy of mine has em and its evident they're just covers and not the real thing.
