Chrome Door Handles

I have a 2008 tahoe LS im looking to chrome out like my dad's avalanche ltz. I have found oem replacement chrome mirrors but have not been able to find oem replacement door handles. I have only found the covers and I dont want the covers I want the full replacement chrome door handles. If anybody could drop me a few links I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any / all help.

I checked there but they were discontinued. Thanks for the tip and to the other poster thanks for the link i'll check there.

wow...that's surprising. Then I'd definitely check GM Parts direct for the OEM part. You might also give eBay a shot or check Craigslist to see if someone is, by chance, parting one out with chrome handles or whatever.

I checked gmparts direct that's where they were discontinued. I checked ebay but all they had was covers. Don't really do craigslist as I like to buy w/ confidence and not in person but I will look and see whats out there. You would think that these parts would be easier to find for a 2008 but im having some trouble.

Not OEM but I bet they are equal quality if not better. I do know the OEM ones back in 07 and 08 have breaking issues.

Installed chrome door handles

I just finished installing these chrome door handles I got off Ebay from Gearjamming. Pretty simple install except for the driver's door. Had to deal with the key locking mechanism, but other than than did all four door in a couple of hours. They look awesome. Same quality as OEM.

I bought mine at a local dealership ... they didn't even have to order them, they had 'em right there in the back.

I bought my chrome handles from GMPartsDirect, I realize that you said that they are discontinued, but I purchased "Bright Chrome" for all for doors on Friday evening. GL.
