My current grille at the moment is stock black with LTZ-replica chrome covers, just so I could see if I liked that look before I jumped in on an OEM one, but I got to thinking - what if I try just chrome plating my current one?

Since my dad has done auto body work (and knows a lot about electroplating processes), do you think its a project we could handle?

If it goes well I might apply it to my wheels. :D

But anyways yeah please give me your opinion on it.

Nevermind, it's a crazy idea! Lol. I'd rather a shop do it. Seems difficult and expensive.
