Fuel Pump Trims

Used my hptuners vcm scanner this time..

fuel pump trim short term 1.00-1.01
fuel pump trim long term 1.21
(at idle)

commanded duty cycle 30% at idle
32% free revving at 2500rpms.

So apparently mine went down a little bit..?
Perhaps it is compensating for environmental factors? (as well as pump variance)

What is the PID name, assuming you were using Torque?

NM, I just searched through the available sensors, and it's literally named: FUEL TRIM

That's different. Never seen a setting for it in Torque, only the Tech-2.

hp tuners can tune the fuel pump module. I have no idea why you'd want to, seems to be a thing on the newer boosted cars. I accidentally licensed mine on the hybrid lol. waste of a credit but what can ya do haha. was unlocking in a rest stop to disable afm before the long trip home and didn't read the pop up box correctly.

I think it was bundled for the stock GMT900, which was only 4 credits total IIRC..

Basically saying an empty fuel tank would show high trims.
Perhaps my tank was more full this time compared to the last time I checked it... Will check again when low.
