I'm on the fence about this, I'm thinking about removing the cladding around the step bars on my Bermuda Blue Z71 cause it looks kinda 'ricey' IMO. Would it give it a more cleaner look or simply cause an eye sore? Please chime in with your thoughts or photos if you have them. Thanks.

It seems Im having a conversation with myself here - I did end up removing the cladding and it was a pretty simple process. I think it does look better, less cluttered, and just a cleaner look overall. I will post a pic as soon as I clean it up.

Dude we need pics. IMO it looks better with it.
But some people remove them the front valance and running boards to make the truck look a bit higher.

I will snap a pic after work today and post up, its not very clean at the moment, but you'll still get the idea.

Here ya go, my wife's actual comment was "its not really that different, it just looks normal now" and I kinda agree. A cleaner, less cluttered look - judge for yourself.

I think it looks better when u just remove ur side boards. I put mine back on only because I got a body lift. Here it was without sideboards

That looks even better yet IMO. I have to leave the stepbars on mine otherwise I'd have a he11 of a time getting into it. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust, looks like your exhaust is on the drivers side? I simply replaced my stock muffler with a magnaflow and replaced the resonator at the back with a 3inch turn down that gave it a mild, slightly noticeable, growl.
