This weekend I took a 200-mile road trip followed the next day by a 300-mile road trip. I was lucky enough to spot 3 different OBS Suburbans moving down the same roads. All of them were in great condition, and all of them were making me want one more & more.

It's one thing to see an old beater, but it's something else to see these classic rigs in clean & straight shape. They had that purposeful, no-nonsense, get-outta-my-way-while-I-run-a-million-miles look about them. Just handsome, tough trucks.

I don't have room or a good reason to own one now alongside my NNBS rig, but I have to tip my hat to those who own them and keep them running right.

There are quite a few well maintained obs rigs here in big bear where I live. It's a good 4x4 rig to keep life moving through the winter snow up here. Pretty good rigs. Thinking about buying one when I get my Denali paid off to use as a 4x4 winter ride and work rig for the summer months.

I like to think I have one... Just a daily driver, original and bone stock minus some bigger tires and a set of tow mirrors. I love the hoe. Its my 2nd one and even after driving my 07.5 burb, this one is just classic and easy to drive and maintain.

I remember these oh so well when these were the most fresh design out based on the 1988 trucks.

It was strange because the pickups came out in '88 and the Subs didn't get refreshed till '92

Feel old :(

I may be a bit biased, but I think the GMT400 is the best looking of all the body styles.

They're one of my faves too but I'll always have the squarebody as my #1

I think they are junk.... no idea why anyone would want to spend the money to maintain a obs :devilfinger:
