Really like the amp placement, unobtrusive is a win in my book. Question to you (or anyone with boxes like that), do you just pull it out when you want to do something useful with your truck? Back when I was young and halfway dumb at 16, I had a big box with a big Kicker in my car's trunk. I had the amp on the back of the fold down rear seat, so it was out of the way 90% of the time, but the box (as good as it sounded) was such a pain anytime I needed to use the trunk. I'd have to unhook everything, pull it out, store it, and then vice versa when I was done. Now that I'm mostly grown up, I like everything nice and out of site...

Yeah i take it out buts its becoming a pain in the ass. I have been thinking about selling the box and somehow trying to hide 2 10's in there somewhere, im thinking about making a custom box where the factory sub was in the back panel.

That is how I got to be with my big box. It was such a pain to do anything with. I sold it with the car and got an Infinity Basslink (small car, it did enough), but even that took up a bit of room. My X5 was smart about it though, they had the amp completely hidden in the back and a sub hidden on the other side in the back. Granted, it was only a little 8 RF Punch, but it did sorta ok. I would think there would be room to hide two Solobaric 10's if you were crafty.

Thinking about trying to do a Memphis shallow mount 12 inside the rear panel where the factory sub was. They only need a 3" mounting depth. I think theres enough room......
