Cleaning TB ?

For those that have cleaned your throttle bodies.
What relearn process did you do?
How long did the relearn process take?

i didnt do anything but start it back up. idled a bit high for 3 days. hardest thing to deal with was coming to a stop light and fighting 1200rpms with the brakes.

Its only been two days, hoping it idles down soon. It is annoying.
Mine will idle down after a few seconds from being at a complete stop.

was thinking about it again, I think it really depends on how much you drive it. I cleaned the TB on a Saturday morning. I think it was back to normal by the following tuesday. My wife drives the Tahoe about 80 miles a day to work and back.

Its a PITA, but it will get better each day as you drive. and yea, if you sit at a traffic light, it will idle back to normal, its just the deceleration that really seems to be affected

Well, I cleaned it out Thursday afternoon and its still in the process, hah.

I don't drive too much but have been trying to drive it more during the relearn.

I'll have to pay more attention tomorrow and see how its coming along, hah.
