Those aren't swirl marks according to the wash manager . Just crap equipment. I was accused of taking my truck off road according to the wash manager. And you should see the asst. managers black Challenger. Only touchless washes during the winter for me.If you like to keep your cars clean and wash often, consider a ceramic coating. I put a clear bra film and ceramic coat all my cars. It’s much easier to keep clean but requires regular hand washes (once every week or two). Car wash is a definite no no unless you like your new ride to be covered in swirl marks.
I've been using off the shelf car wash soap for years to hand wash my autos. Blue Coral, Turtle Wax, whatever. Then dry with a chamois cloth, or Absorber (synthetic chamois). But be sure and keep a good coat of wax/polish on your car. I've used Zaino since 2003, and am a big fan. Parking indoors is the biggest factor in keeping your finish looking tip top. Some folks can't, and that increases the importance of wax/polish.
At any rate, even my black autos keep a fine finish with bi-weekly hand washing (with car soap), drying with an Absorber, and once-a-year Zaino polishing. But then, I'm able to park indoors, so that helps most of all.
