Clicking noise from top of motor

Hello all,

This afternoon I started my truck and I noticed a clicking noise coming from what seems like the top of the motor. Its a fast noise and everything I listen too on youtube for lifters are slow. Has anyone ever heard this before? If I rev it up it goes away for a bit but comes back later. I drove the truck about 75 miles today in 90 degree heat with the a/c running if that makes a difference. The truck seems like it runs fine which scares me..

just a thought take off the belt and spin the alternator. it sounds clearest and highest around there it also spins faster then anything else.

You were right, that's the noise. Must be a bearing. I was on youtube for hours last night listening to different sounds, should have typed in alternator heh.
