I’ve posted about this before but still have not been able to figure it out the issue.

I have an 03 Chevy Tahoe with the dual knob climate control. When I got it the factory unit dials were not working properly so I purchased a Dorman replacement unit. I can use the dials but most of the time if I turn it up to 89 it stays ok max cold, but once it goes on 90 then it gets hot. A few times it has adjusted to other temperatures but not accurate temperature.

I read about how the air aspirator above the driver can cause this issue. I knew it was going bad because it was making a loud whining sound so I replaced it but it still has not fixed the issue with adjusting the temperature.

At this point I’m at a loss at what is causing the issue. If anyone has any ideas on what the issue is I would appreciate it.

So, "when you got it was not working properly". Then you installed a Dorman unit. It has the listed problems. Are these the same problems as before the Dorman unit or is the Dorman unit problems all new?

The factory unit was not working properly. The dials were not working properly so I can’t say if this issue existed with the factory unit because the dials didn’t adjust temperate properly.
