Weren't we discussing the XFE? The OP said they're looking for a "cloud feeling suspension", and you said that they "...will want the suspension used on the XFe." My friend's XFE rides very UN-cloud-like. So I was confused with your suggestion.

it's firm level ride with the XFE meaning the body stays level and the suspension does the work, the hybrid is kinda bouncy, but has a cloud steering...

BG1988 said, "the smallest rims on a NNBS tahoe is 17" that means you would need 265/70/17 to be equal size to the 18" 265-65-18

i don't think 15" tires fit on a 17" rim."

You are correct on the tire sizes. I edited my earlier post. I must have been really tired when I made that post. Anyway, that's my excuse. :)

I get the feeling that you're a beta unit AI bot. :hmmm2:

he's literally argued to with to the point of running off a ex gm guy that was involved with the hybrid project. it's a shame the access to knowledge lost.

It’s sad to see the number of people who think lowered vehicles automatically have worse ride quality than stock

You can do up to a 4-5” drop up front with the STOCK strut assembly so the ride quality will be exactly the same

For the rear you can get a 4” drop spring from Belltech and retain a beautiful ride with shock extenders and SP shocks. Or if you’re not worried about going lower than 2-3” in the rear, TBSS air bags bolt right in

These are the ****** 99-06 torsion bar trucks. My truck sitting at 6/9 with 285/45/22’s rides better than a truck with stock worn out suspension

But not a truck with stock properly functioning/not worn out suspension......correct.

I’ve never been in a 07-14 SUV with an entirely brand new suspension setup but I guarantee my truck’s ride quality is as good as any truck with over 100k miles on their suspension components

Okay, you've got my attention. What's your suspension set up comprised of?
