Okay. I finally got to chase and fix this. Easy broken left motor mount. I read a bunch of posts to figure out how to fix it. Still it took me 3 hours and some pain. I did learn that I should have started by removing the steering shaft. Also I regret trying to remove the heat shield on the exhaust manifold.

In response to your sig quote: Did you use an ACDelco mount? Upgraded to the non-hydraulic ("Hummer H3") mount if yours was originally the hydraulic one?

After reading that the right side mount was more pain I decided to just do the one. I wanted the mounts to be similar in construction so I went with a stock style instead of the H3 version.

With over 200k miles I hesitate to put a lot of money into this thing. It's got rust and little leaks of various fluids plus the interior was pretty filthy when I got it with 150k miles on it. I did borrow a neighbor's carpet cleaning machine to try to get more of the soda out of the carpets but haven't found the time to use it yet. No hurry, he just left for 4 months of riding in Europe on a goldwing.
