I have a '99 Yukon, and as of this week when I turn left I get a pretty loud clunk coming from the left wheel. It never does it when turning to the right, and isn't from turning the wheel, but from the vehicle actually moving with the wheel turned. It is more frequent the harder I am turning and louder/more frequent when going faster. Also, the first time I heard the noise was just after braking extremely hard from about 45mph in traffic, which may or may not be coincidence. Wheel bearings were replaced about 6months ago.

Any idea what this noise could be from?
Thanks in advance.

front or rear? 2wd or 4wd

Front could be wheel hub or bearings, tie rods, ball joints, CV joint.

Rear, axle bearings or spider gears.

On a long shot could be a brake part failed some where. I would look over all that no matter what. It should jump right out if a brake part has died.

I had this on my truck when turning to the right..... turned out the brake pad clips weren't holding the brake pad correctly. I just pulled everything apart, spread out the clips... reinstalled everything, and good to go.
Don't know if this'll help ya'.

Had the same thing with mine last year, wound up being a CV joint - the boot had torn, and dirt got inside, destroying the joint.
