Good stuff rich cant wait to see it. Also for future refrence i would stay away form buying any sort of led shipped from hong kong on ebay. In my experience they take 3-5 weeks to get to you and have all burnt out within 2 weeks. Could just be my luck though, just wanted to give a heads up.

I was told that the light and base was a fixed unit. I did get one bulb out of the original base and the two little wires are still in the base and don't see how to get them out. If I am missing something, please advise. Thanks.

I ordered my bulbs from a guy in California, good seller and quick shipping. They were in my mailbox on Friday. I will have to play with the bases. Can't wait to get them in.

Yes, they do take a lot longer to get to the US but no matter where you get them 95%+ of leds are made in China. Just because it's a US seller, doesn't mean their products are made in the US. Of all the leds I've bought from China (hundreds) only 1 of them has burnt out prematurely but like Midgetclown said "could just be my luck".

Here is the first shot of the LED's in. They look good, there seems to be a few little hot spots where the lights are installed but over all I am happy with them.

I painted the gauge bezel a metallic black, happy with the choice and the final product. If you have seen my other post about the sunburn peeling paint on my dash, I am doing all the dash pieces over.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I am ready to be done with this dash project. I haven't driven my truck in two weeks.
