Did they tell you how far off your alignment was?

No, as in post 2, i go to a old school cat that does not use computers. So there is no telling how far off it is. I can tell you it was off far thats about it.

But 2 days now, drives fine & straight and more planted and less bouncy then it was before riding on the side walls.

He have any comments about the coilovers?

No he does a bunch of cust stuff and probably didn't think anything of it. But he sis say he didn't like the ride. Lol. But I have the shocks set kind of firm right now. Need to adjust them again now.

Will say also for those wondering measured stance today after alignment and the front is at 31.5 from ground to fender. Need to get from center hub to fender though. So if a top mount bushing is found that will drop me to 30.5 which I think will other issues then. I'm already quite low and minimal room.

Love the measurements. Jealous cant wait to do this. Now could you just swap to the stud mount if you wanted to or do you have the coil overs? I know I asked about this somewhere lol. Now we gotta figure out how to bring rear down to match front.

The tops can be changed in about 30 seconds.

As atomic said, the tops change out very easy longer to take out the coils then to change the tops.

Yep, if they find a bushing i can just swap out for stud mount & bushing and take off pro comp and gain additional height for the shock.

Well now with some time under the alignment belt. Not too happy.

Reason behind it:

My tahoe is too low in the front at 31.5. The front bottoms out. When hitting a bump or dip at a good speed i can feel the shock bottom out, speed bumps i have to come to a dead stop to go over them, other wise it will stop itself from the movement in the front.

Atomic - no stops are not in yet, have not had time, but do not see where they will help except stop the shock from bottoming out and slam on the stops instead. My distance right now from where the stock bumpstop cup is and the lca is about an 1". I am getting the stops in soon though, but will have to cut the mess out of them in order to not be just like it was with tbars, resting on the stops.

Just a little review for the week after alignment. i think for being really low, more thought needs to be put into all this as its not the shock limits or atomics brackets, but the vehicle itself.

Keeping an eye on iregrets thread and Digital's findings on bushings that will work w/ a stud mount. That will give me more travel, i believe.

I know it seems like it wont do much, but giving a little cushion so it isnt metal on metal will definitely help, and keeping the shock from hitting rock bottom will avoid damage to the (expensive) hardware

Heres a pic of my setup, so others can see. If the stud top pans out, ill most likely trim the bumpstop a little more... as you can see, I already hacked it up pretty good and still have minimal room

I kind of expected that sooner honestly given how low you had the spring adjusted. I made very careful to have mine sit in the middle of travel, which is higher than you have. The solution is to adjust the springs up to give it more downtravel. I suggest adding the bumpstops before the shock damaged. The bump stop offers a much softer stop than the shock bottoming out.
