Looking to get one for my 02 Tahoe question is wut are the gains and will it help my gas mileage at all?? or is it just a waste of money? My truck is pretty bad on gas

Remember a cai is less restrictive on air so more air will get it with less effort so a couple mpgs better and a lil better power response well worth an upgrade and isnt really expensive

its worth the upgrade..dont expect huge gains but it does help in mpg and better response

You should get a little better, but that is only if you can keep your foot out of it, which will be hard because an intake will make your truck sound great, and you'll want to hear it. I am a big fan of K&N:

But I've heard good things about the Airaid Jr. kit:

ok cool yea im happy with the performance with the truck of course could always use more, just want better gas mileage, so i think i might give it a shot, the k&n looks good to me!! thanks guys

I think the k&n is whats next since i put my corsa sport on my denali. I got 19.0 mpg's cruising on the highway at 67mph when the truck was only dropped. I havent put any serious highway driving on it since the corsa and when i go to vermont this week ill have a roof box on so thats not an accurate idea on mpg's.

Performance truck parts is having an airaid sale. Airaid jr for hoes and yukons is down to about $140 (with filter) cheapest I've seen! :pepper:
