There is a GM bulletin on this problem and it concerns a door inside the cowl side of the air intake, you have to go in through the intake grill and remove a panel, the bulletin explained it all,it is quite explicit.to fix it no real money involved.Just found the bulletin ,It is 01-01-37-008. The problem is there is some weather stripping that is not attached properly and lets cold air (winter) or hot summer air leak past the seal causing the draft on the passenger side. This was the GM fix for a 2000 Tahoe so it could be for later models also.

Isn't that the door that controls the Recirc?

Humm

I think my Recirc motor is bad as that button does not change the draft that comes in either..

Gotcha, might have to right shoty when I am not DD and someone else is driving lol

Yep I am ALWAYS the driver.. in my truck anyhow - and one day my wife was driving as I had a drink or two... and I was like DAMN its cold over here...

Funny part is she always has her side on full heat and I turn it down on her... Well now I feel bad lol - I just thought she liked it warmer than me.. but damn its cold there!
