Never heard of that and the idea of dropping a 45 pound battery scares me! LOL

A battery tender can usually rejuvenate a dead battery, I've done it.
voltage drop test, this tells you if the starter cable has high resistance, burnt, etc.
mine on the yukon has been fine but on the silverado that thing looked like someone tried to cook it on the bbq and it was 7 years newer

Update: New battery and ignition switch didnt do anything. No voltage drop wherever I can see. Grounds are all good.
