Color matched corner appliqué and escalade third rail light

Finally registered. Great place for information. Thanks for all the info. But onto my question

I have a 2013 Yukon xl. Summit white. I want to do the escalade third tail light. Which unless I go black will have to be painted. But was considering color matching my rear quarter appliqués to the body color. May could find some summit white appliqués from a Tahoe or suburban if I was patient. But if not. And I decide to paint tail light appliqués etc. all body color. Is it better to start with diamond white third tail and a lighter color set of appliqués. Or will I get the same quality job from just painting black ? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I can find. A esky esv roof rack I'll just get the caps and everything done at the same time I know a bunch of people have done this mod Recommend. Being patient on. A used or going through a supporting partner and getting as parts ?

I got my roof rack off eBay and running boards off Craigslist by checking daily and waiting on a decent deal.
