I think this legal stuff is moot anyways. I agree that you can still see the red reflector. The first pic above with the tails off proves that. Definitely red. However, if a police officer wanted to give him a tail light ticket for them, I'd be willing to bet he would have no problem doing so. Hell, I got a warning for my license plate cover which does NOT affect license plate visibility. It's simply a plastic cover nothing else. Police are allowed to make judgment calls is what I am saying as far as tickets and/or warnings. Now back to the regularly scheduled thread about opinions/comments on his tail lights.

I think this conversation should go elsewhere guys and not become more of a legal debate in a thread about Yukonjack's tail lights.

Sorry Effect.. at first i was positive that a legal conversation concerning the taillights in question definitely SHOULD be in the thread about them..
But it turned into a joke. Im going back to the lounge..

It's cool MOB.. I know you had good intentions there, I wasn't questioning that at all. I just didn't want Yukonjack's thread to get thread jacked too bad and it was getting that way with the legal discussion. No worries at all.

Yukonjacks - I'd like to see some pics of them during the day if you have any.

Im waiting to get her cleaned up first, otherwise you know where the conversation will go next. In closing about tickets, last night I saw the Chief of police of my community, he actually said he liked it, we never even talked about tickets, other good thing is I have two other police that live on my street, and good friends with most of the Punishers M.C. in the area.

Notice how it doesn't say OR imply that as long as you keep ONE reflector red or slap on your own, that you can do whatever the hell you want with the rest of them?

You are drawing that inference on your own.

Reflectors (NOT JUST ONE) shall reflect a red color.

It's obvious you don't like to argue on topic, love to ignore facts and engage in personal attacks, and hate being proven wrong.

For those reasons alone, everyone else can be rest assured that I won't be replying anymore in this thread.

I have proven my point, many times over.

Cartwright asked that you take it to PM instead of cluttering up this guy's thread with bs. Take this as a warning.

I dont want to add to fuel to the fire, but im gonna...lol Actually here in Wichita, KS there is a law in the books that anything other then OEM items are illegal. Lights, modified suspensions, etc.....

It is basically a blanket statement thats covers the police if they really want to mess with someone. This law is rarely inforced, but they have it in their back pocket.

BTW, the tailights look good.

Its all good, nice to know what everyones take on the law is, the guys at the local state inspection station said it would depend on whos inspecting the vehicle whether it would pass or not, just like the blue halo, if they hold a white sheet of paper over the headlamp and it shows a blue tint thru it, legally they are not suppose to pass the vehicle. I have a spare set of tails just in case!!!!!
